As for times and seasons, you don’t need to write anything
With natural disasters and difficult economic times this year, it is understandable to think that many would wonder what message God is trying to convey to us through the world around us. But Paul says in his first letter to the Thessalonians that we don’t have to write anything about the times and seasons.
Paul wrote this letter during urgent times when believers were impatiently awaiting the return of Jesus. He urged them to keep working quietly while they hoped they would return. Whether times are difficult or easy, whether we are asleep or awake, we are encouraged to positively rebuild one another and remember that God’s ultimate destiny for us is salvation through Jesus, not anger.
