7. A prayer for courage

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never forsake you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31: 6

Heavenly Father, help us remember that we need not be afraid because you are going before us. When our children start feeling weak, remind them of your presence, you will never leave or leave them. You are the great defender; we call on your name to help us in our need. In Jesus name, amen.

8. A prayer for strength

“So do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not be frightened, because I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will support you with my righteous right hand. ”Isaiah 41:10

Heavenly Father, every school year brings new challenges. We are grateful that you did not leave us without help; thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit. When our children face difficulties, we ask them to lean on your strength and call on the Holy Ghost to fill them with confidence and courage. In Jesus name, amen.

9. A prayer for discernment

“Discretion protects you, and understanding protects you.” Proverbs 2:11

Heavenly Father our children hear so many voices all day long; guide them to tune in as you speak to their hearts. We pray that they will make decisions with the help of the Holy Ghost and that they will clearly understand your will and direction. In Jesus name, amen.

10. A prayer to commemorate

“My God is my rock on which I seek refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my fortress, my refuge and my savior – you save me from violent people. “I have called the Lord, who is worthy of praise and has been saved from my enemies.” 2 Samuel 22: 3-4

Heavenly Father, we want children who know you well. They can trust and obey even if they don’t understand because they have a personal relationship with you. We are eternally grateful that we have saved ourselves and ask our children if they do not know you, they will accept you as their Lord and Savior. You are worthy of all our praise. Give us strength as we preach the gospel to a lost world, guide us, we want to be salt and light to your glory. in the name of jesus amen.
