First of all, you’ve probably heard this by now, but it needs to be repeated: Mercury retrograde is now over. For those of you who enjoy blaming Mercury retrograde? Excellent news: Mercury’s retrograde shadow period lasts until March 13th. This is a time when Mercury is regaining the ground it lost during the retrograde evolution. It’s not as treacherous as normal Mercury retrograde for planning and communication, but if you enjoy using astrology as an excuse for things going wrong, it is there for you. Enjoy!
The dominant aspect of the week is Mars trine Pluto. This has two main effects. First of all, it will give you enough energy to move forward in a difficult situation that may not have been addressed in a while. It can also provide a powerful, but relatively smooth and user-friendly boost to your sex drive. That goes for your temperament too, so be careful with that because Saturn’s square Uranus is still very effective. Not everyone who you think needs a punch needs a punch too.
To add some meekness to your life Venus enters Pisces on Thursday. Venus is considered exalted in Pisces. This means that all things being equal, it’s a good time for romance and kindness and baking. Indeed, if you combine Venus in Pisces with this week’s Mars aspect – Mars rules the cutting and heating of things, so if you are in self-isolation, self-quarantine, or just avoiding the world – this could be an excellent week to put things in to make the kitchen. However, when you have someone to have sex with, the baking can wait. Anyway, your creative impulses are likely to come from Sun textile Uranuswhat exactly is Thursday.
Finally and just in time for the weekend, we have them Full moon in Virgo on Saturday morning, that affects the whole weekend. In my experience, the full moon in Virgo is often the strangest full moon of the year. Given that this particular full moon aspects Uranus, it might be time to double the weirdness. You can expect the usual mental and emotional werewolves to show up, as they usually do on a full moon. Don’t be too shocked if these werewolves are weird wolves this month, however. And considering that Mars in late Taurus hangs around alone, unattended and unsupervised, beware of bites.
