Readings

Ss Andrew Kim Taegon, Paul Chong Hasang and Cc

Ezra 1: 1-6. The Lord worked miracles for us – Psalm 125 (126). Luke 8: 16-18.

Let those who enter see the light

Lucy: Telling us to see our light is pretty intimidating, Jesus. It’s okay with you – you’re perfect, but I’m afraid people will see my dark side.

Jesus: You’re right, of course, Lucy. It’s scary, but that’s the whole point. When people saw through me, they recognized God, my Father, and yours. If people see through you too, they will see God’s light shining through all the dark places of your life.

Lucy: Do you really believe Jesus? I would much rather travel under the radar and read the gospel under the covers, not be a neon sign saying “I love Jesus”. I am like your friend Nicodemus who came at night.

Jesus: Well, Lucy, one day everything will be revealed anyway. But it only takes a little bit of light to change a room full of darkness, doesn’t it? Especially when it’s sunlight. Do you think that i am the light

Lucy: I would like to, Jesus.
