4. A prayer of reconciliation between friends
Lord God, you see what happened in this friendship. Your word teaches me that a true friend loves at all times. Oh, Father God, my heart is heavy. I ask you to search my heart and show me everything that I have done that has hurt my friend’s feelings. I confess to you that at times I have been selfish and have spoken thoughtless words. Lord, show me too where I was guilty. Forgive me lord I praise you for constantly giving grace. I now pray Holy Spirit that you will give this friendship healing and reconciliation. I pray blessings for my friend Lord. I pray that their marriage will be blessed, that their children will flourish, and their finances will flourish. I pray for favor in every aspect of their life. Most of all, I pray that she will be rooted and grounded in the love of Christ. That she would know the hope to which she was called and that she would know the power of resurrection in all walks of life.

5. A prayer of reconciliation for racial segregation
Father God, I know your heart is racial for full reconciliation. Father your word teaches me that one day people from all nations, tribes and languages will gather before your throne. Search my heart, oh God, and show me every trace of prejudice that lingers there. I pray that I see every human being as a beautiful creature made in your image. Lord, thank you that each race reflects an aspect of your glory. I commend you for creating different skin colors, eye colors, cultural traditions and tribal rituals. Yet you long for everyone to know you personally and to be accepted into the family of Christ. Thank you that there will be no division for all eternity. People from all nations, tribes and languages will praise Your Holy Name.
“Then I looked, and before me stood a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, every tribe, every people and every language that stood before the throne and before the Lamb. They wore white robes and held palm branches in their hands. And they shouted in a loud voice: ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and the Lamb’. ”Revelation 7: 9-10
Learning to intercede with the Atonement Prayer is a great way to bring our hearts into perfect union with that of God. As a result, we will see more unity in our marriages, friendships, families, and cultures.
