Dwell in the house of the Lord
The psalm and gospel reading today has a beautiful symmetry. We rest on Sundays. Jesus urged the disciples “to come to a quiet place with me and rest” He offers us the same. The psalm fills our hearts with God’s promises. There is nothing to fear, nothing to fear. We are loved and cared for. Rest in this embrace for a while today. Stay in the house of the Lord all your life.
