The Ignatian Year has a theme song, “La Herida” or “The Wound”. Composed by Cristóbal Fones, SJ, with texts by José María Rodríguez Olaizola, SJ, the song was translated into English and French by Phillip Hurley, SJ and Pierre Bélanger, SJ. In English the refrain reads: “At the end of our days we / will abide with your love and grace to heal each of our wounds.”
Reflect with the song in its international version below. Then come from July 1st for the annual 31 days with St. Ignatius.
