Lord you are my strength
Sometimes it feels like the world is against me. There seems to be no one to give comfort, no one to call, no one who would understand. I feel isolated, alone, with only my own strength to rely on. But in prayer I call on God and say, ‘Strengthen me. I feel so isolated and alone. ‘ Then I remember the scriptures and the times when you were abandoned and betrayed. I know i’m not alone You’re with me. You are my strength And I think if you are with me then I have to be there for you. Though I am small and meek, God, I am with you.
Lord, in the hardest of times, may I remember that you are with me. May I not be so caught up in my own problems that I forget that you are my focus and stay with and within you.
