When the Scientist Encountered Deer

Astrophysicist Paolo Beltrame, SJ, of Italy, was in South Dakota one Christmas when he saw deer. At this encounter he experienced God not only as “a higher intelligence who regulates the universe”, but also as “a personal presence that takes care of people, deer, nature and everything that exists”. Check out the video where Beltrame explains his cannonball moment.
