Your peace will rest on this man
But the Lord stood by my side and gave me strength so that through me the message would be fully preached and that everyone would hear it. Most of us do not work in mission areas abroad. We work closer to home, in our families, our workplaces, our community groups, our neighborhoods. We may not all have a reputation for missionaries, but we all have missions, we are all sent by God into the world to share the good news wherever we are. God is with us and in us as we preach the good news through our lives, preferring integrity and honesty to the path of least resistance, how we prioritize the needs of others, how we listen and encourage others, in the way we how we take care of the earth and try to minimize our carbon footprint, in the way we speak respectfully and lovingly to other people.
