The Lord is a holy God, a jealous God
“If you find it undesirable to serve the Lord, choose who you want to serve today… But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” We have choices, and we must exercise them. They say God has no grandchildren. We cannot rely on the decisions others have made, but we have to make our own decision. Will we choose to love God in the service of our sisters and brothers, or will we make another choice? Will we give priority to love for God and neighbor over everything else, or will we give priority to our own creation of wealth, our own idol worship (be it power, prestige or possession)? May we continue to choose God’s love every day.
