Turn to the Lord in your need and you will live
The middle of winter can let your soul dangle. Especially in the southern parts of the country, where the seasons are more pronounced, the weather is cold, the days short, often gray and wet. Spring can appear a long way off and our everyday life can be a bit more stressful. How beautiful then is today’s psalm, which offers us courage, help and joy when we are concerned. God is always there with a help that never fails; we just have to ask.
“For the Lord listens to the needy and does not despise his servants in their chains”.
